Winstanley House, Leicester
A refurbishment & extension of a Grade 2 listed building into 19 bespoke boutique bedrooms hotel with two banquet halls catering for large weddings.
The project is set within acres of woodland and historic park found within the City of Leicester.
The architectural concept is a dialogue between the old and the new. The extension constructed utilising modern materials and providing transparent views in and out of the spaces. The Barcelona Pavilion by Mies Van Der Rohe was the key inspiration behind the conceptual development of the new extensions.
