We’re delighted to announce the recent completion of 123-125 Merton Road, London.
Situated in Wimbledon, the collection of 27 apartments is spread out over three individual residential blocks with an external courtyard and associated landscaping.
MAS architecture Ltd was appointed from Stage 2 to complete the design of the project and to take it through to completion. MAS used their expertise in space planning to ensure they maximised the site’s potential to create much needed homes in the area.
 The proposal consisted of demolishing an existing former hotel that was dilapidated and not in use. The new scheme designed to be minimalist in its character but with clever detailing using quality buff brickwork and soldier course banding.
 The development is mainly constructed using an instu-concrete frame whilst the top floor is set back and is constructed using lightweight steel structural framing system (SFS) and treated with standing seam zinc cladding.
